im 15 and wanna go on it for "beauty" reasons lets say...heard it helps clear bad skin and other stuff.....does it have any side effects thou? and where do i get those pills? do u get them prescribed or can u get them off a shelf at the pharmacy?

false testerone makes you grow facial hair and most birth control pills give you more estrogen so you would have less hair and it does help clear your skin but at the same time most woman put on weight when they start on the pill.

You shouldn't mess around with that type of stuff. There could be serious side effects that weren't intended. And, use medicine only for its intended use

You have to have a physical/Pap test at your gyno or doctor and they can prescribe the birth control for you. There are many different kinds. and I've been taking them for three years with no beard :) so I don't think that's true. Good luck!
I also would say .. don't ever have sex until you are ready to have a baby. You have no idea what can happen and something that seems like just fun can change your entire life.
