it varies depending on how old you are and what style you have. if you are a teenager it gives many girls the sense of going out with a true man but dont make it too shabby trim often and make them look nice no patches! I have this problem due to an endochrine system disorder. Have you been tested for anything? Hey that's OK, you aren't alone. My hubby of 30+ years took forever to grow facial hair...he was always teased that in his late 20's %26amp; beyond he was still going through puberty! But this seemed to be true because of his genetic/hormonal makeup. He has Norweigien/Swede type genetics; light skin(which tans nicely though),blonde hair %26amp; blue eyes. His fathers side of family had absolutely no hairy chests or body hair %26amp; baldy or hair receded early on, when approaching their later years. I believe many of these factors has some influence. However,. my hubby did indeed grow facial hair in his late 20's every year he would shave his mustache off for his Mom on Mother's day, then long winters he would grow the beard scene as a competition between him %26amp; his brothers. I have two sons, one can grow a full beard in about a week the other just never gets much past the sparse stage. The one who gets the full beard started getting it very young (around 14) and he hates it, has to shave all the time. The other wishes he could grow his, no accounting.

Both are very dark though. I'm pretty sure if you don't have it by now you are not going to get it, so just make the most of what you have and groom it well, there are some lovely styles out there that work very well with most facial types (experience from son,lol).

Go see a doctor. We are not qualified to answer something as serious as that. All I can offer you is my opinion... -- Laser is light and it works by concentrating it on a small spot. The heat produced will kill/burn the hair roots. No more than that so I doubt whether it is harmful as for example radiation would. What I will say is that laser treatment is VERY SLOW since the operator has to address EVERY hair and there are thousands of them...it becomes expensive... So expensive ? YES but dangerous, I do not think so. Does it hurt like hell ? YES... her skin and your wallet.
