hey she wont be 'extremely' mad at you, its just a matter of being offended. all girls are vain anyway. just ask her is she's shaving her facial hair (as if you're not sure) and ask as innocently and casually as you could if she has tried other means to do it, like the hair-removal cream. tell her its better coz it prevents those 'chicken-skin' texture and the hair doesnt grow back as soon. or even better - electrolysis. so she'll never have to shave anymore.

and if its not too much facial hair - well maybe she can just leave it be.

She should get treatment at a laser hair removal center and her problem will stop forever!! The shaving will just make her facial hair thicker and darker and might even irritate her skin. If she cannot afford Laser treatment, then she should use other methods like waxing or a hair removal cream or something that nature, not anything with blades in it though.

DEFINITELY a no. I have really dark hair, so consequently a little bit of facial hair, but I've found that bleaching it (Sally Hansen and Jolen are two products you can recommend) makes it completely unnoticeable, and you never have to worry about it regrowing as you do with waxing or (most) other hair removal. Changes are if she has noticeable facial hair, she also has noticeable arm hair and probably should bleach that too if it bothers her.

You know, you may just want to start the conversation innocently. Be like, I have some friends who shave, bleach, wax their face hair. Which do you think is best? Then when she says she shaves, you can get into a debate with her about what the pros and cons are of each, and bring up your concerns about shaving in a "debate" way, not necessarily a could-seem-like-a-personal-attack way. You might make her realize that there are options she hasn't considered out there!

I would suggest waxing and bleaching, but each of these (from what I have been told) requires the hair to be a 1/4 inch. Obviously she can't grow a full on beard and wait around to use the stuff. I don't think she can afford electrolysis. So, the five o clock shadow might be the only option...

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.

Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
